Christmas markets in South Tyrol

Pre-Christmas magic comes to town

The Christmas markets of South Tyrol have become a real tradition! From the end of November to the beginning of January the towns are full of colourful activity. The smell of cinnamon and mulled wine, fir tree branches, fairy lights and Christmas jewellery, jingling bells at the stalls, Christmas songs and glistening white snow…all this is sure to get you in the festive mood.

In South Tyrol there are larger Christmas markets held in the towns of Brixen, Bozen, Bruneck, Sterzing and Meran. Smaller markets are held in Klausen, Mühlbach and other places.
