...our secret tip: our alpine hut can be found on the Lower Engbergalm at 1,800 m in the pristine Pfunderertal Valley, at the foot of the Wurmaulspitze (3,022 m). Here, nestled in the green of the valley, far away from mobile phone reception and noise, you will enjoy some truly special moments.

The hut was completely refurbished in summer/autumn 2010 using Pfunderer stone and lots of wood. Out of respect for nature, we avoided using concrete and have built a hut in keeping with the traditional style of this valley that blends into the natural surrounds.


On the weekly hotel walk with your host and experienced hiker, Klaus, you can enjoy a trip to the Engbergalm including a stop and food in the hut. You will be amazed... by the peace and quiet emanating from the valley, the flair and cosiness of the hut and the beauty of the natural landscape.

Native species to the Pfunderer mountains include: mountain goats, marmots, eagles and chamois.
